1. Kurt Pantzer was a very successful American lawyer through much of the 20th Century.  He collected a number of fine Turner watercolours and donated them and other works to the Indianapolis Museum of Art, where they now occupy the Pantzer suite of rooms.  There is now an exhibition about him and these works:
